Hertz Car Speakers Reviews

Hertz is an Italian manufacturer of consumer audio products. They were founded in 1998, and they’ve made a name for themselves in the loudspeakers marketplace.

We don’t just mean car speakers, but Hertz also produce many different kinds of high end mobile audio products, including amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers.

Hertz car speakers are very well-engineered. However, they are pricey. If you want to go balls-to-the-wall and purchase a pair of Hertz car speakers, you’ll be looking at a $150-$800 price tag. That’s a hefty price tag.

So, the question we want to answer is : For people who have access to dozens of other car speakers from just as many brands, are Hertz car speakers worth the price? Let’s find out.

Hertz Audio HCX 690 Review

Hertz Audio HCX 690 6X9 car speakers reviewThe HCX 690 are one of the best 6X9 car speakers that Hertz Audio has to offer. These 3 way coaxial car speakers are some of the most expensive 6X9 car speakers we’ve come across.

These speakers feature damped mesh fibre woofer cones (a composite of damping materials and glass-fiber fabric) and Tetolon® soft dome tweeters.

They are capped by exceptional super-tweeters that, thanks to their soft Tetolon® domes and their high energy Neodymium magnets, extends the power range to 23kHz, resulting in a well-articulated sound output.

The HCX 690 speakers feature an innovative Radial Venting System which improves linearity and allows for excellent and efficient thermal dissipation.
